The operator's envelope.

You are not a patient. You are an independent researcher. The instructions below define the safe operating envelope of the apparatus and the documentation rigour expected of every operator.

⚠ Contraindications

Do not operate the apparatus in the following conditions

✗ Pacemakers, cochlear implants and other active implanted electronics

✗ Direct application to the eyes

✗ Direct application to the throat over the carotid artery

✗ Application to a pregnant abdomen

✗ Operators with epilepsy or seizure disorders, without medical supervision

Standard Operating Protocol

Five steps, every session

01

Inspect

Confirm bulbs are intact, leads are seated, and the foot-pedal cut-off is responsive before applying power.

Position

Place bulbs against clothed or bare skin at the region of interest. Maintain a comfortable distance — the field couples through air.

03

Start short

Begin with 2-minute sessions per region. Lengthen only as your own documented data justifies.

Document

Record session length, bulb placement, sensations during application, and a 48-hour follow-up note.

Maintain

Clean with a soft brush or cloth. Use the supplied spanners and Allen keys for spark-gap adjustments. Never perform unauthorised repairs.
